It's official, Jonathan Rodríguez has been announced as América's new player for the Apertura 2022. According to TUDN, the striker arrives in definitive purchase and it is reported that 3 million dollars were paid to the Arabs and another 3 million to Cruz Azul.

The player did not choose the number 10 because he respects Diego Valdés, the player who currently wears that number and that is why he would prefer to take the number 21.
