In previous statements, Arturo Vidal has reportedly expressed his desire to defend the América shirt, while Héctor González Iñarritu, in an interview with Fox Sports, confessed that they are looking for a midfielder with the Chilean's characteristics.

Curiously, the player is currently visiting Mexico with his partner and this could be taken advantage of by América's board of directors to meet and convince the Chilean midfielder to join the Azulcrema team.

How much could Vidal earn at América?

Héctor González Iñárritu made it clear that if the reinforcements arriving at América fit the team's salary budget, they will have the doors open and the board's willingness to give them all the privileges they deserve as international stars. In this sense, Arturo Vidal could match Guillermo Ochoa's salary, which is around 4.5 million dollars a year.
