Alexis Vega already decided of his future with Chivas, will he stay?

It’s no lie to say that Alexis Vega is the only player in the current Chivas roster interested in actually playing. Not only has he scored three goals on the four matches they’ve played, but he’s also helped El Rebaño to earn all the points they currently have on Clausura 2022.

But with less than a year left on his contract, Alexis Vega knows that it’s time to decide on where to continue his professional career. So far, he’s been negotiating with Chivas for a renewal, although he hasn’t agreed to the terms presented by Amaury Vergara.

His refusal to agree to a contract extension has more to do with the fact that in Chivas there’s no real project, and with Marcelo Michel Leaño the club is adrift, as they no longer are contenders and haven’t won any titles since 2017.

What will Alexis Vega do?

The 24-year-old left-winger decided to leave Chivas at the end of his contract and pursue the European dream. Although he still has to wait until 2022 ends, it’s rumored that Vega already has an offer from Primeira Liga side Porto.
