Yesterday afternoon, the fate of Club Deportivo Guadalajara was sealed, as Atlas eliminated them from the Liguilla by humiliating them and although this humiliation was not reflected on the scoreboard, it was seen on the field by making Chivas look inoperative.

Chivas had most of the possession of the ball from the start but only used it to get close to the opponent's area, and then returned the ball to their half. And for most of the game, Alexis Vega was neutralized.

And to add salt to the wound, Atlas FC coach Diego Cocca asked fans of the Zorros to make fun of Chivas after having eliminated them from the Liguilla, saying that they should "make fun" of their rivals.

"It is a reality, this team plays, has work, idea, personality, and has an identity. I am very happy, very happy, I want to go and rest, go and celebrate with my people, so that all the people of Atlas can be proud, happy and that I can give Chivas' people all the mockery they want," were Cocca's words about his victory over Chivas.

He also added: "This group is strong, this group can overcome whatever comes, it is very clear, it has been demonstrated. We are strong, we are eager, we have shown that we do not have championshipitis (fear to be champions again), we have shown that we are not satisfied, we have shown that we want to go for more".
