The ever gallant Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his 400th career league goal against Jose Mourinho AS Roma in a very crucial 2-1 win in Italian Seria A. This he did with a brilliantly taken free-kick in the first half of the match to put Milan up.

This is actually a statement from Zlatan Ibrahimovich that he can still play at the highest level, he has always claimed that 40 is just a number, that he can still play as long as he wants to. He has proved himself in many major leagues from Sweden to Netherland, France,Spain, Italy, England and USA.

The goal also marked his 150th in Serie A, having played for Inter Milan and Juventus before. The goal makes it his 11th against AS Roma making them his best opponent in the league. The tally began in 1999 when he was in Malmo in his country Sweden. This is a feat that takes the longevity of Ibrahimovic to reach.

Only 3 other active players have surpassed the 400 league goal with Ibrahimovic, Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo, PSG Lionel Messi and Atletico Madrid Luis Suárez.
