Thiago Silva married his wife Belle Silva, who is always vocal on social media, in 2005 and together they have two sons, Iago and Isago, both of whom are in the Chelsea academy after Thiago Silva's move to Chelsea in 2020.
Thiago Silva is one of the best defenders and Brazilian footballers of his generation.
At 37, he is currently signed to Chelsea and still competing at the top level to play at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar when he would already be 38, that is why he chose to sign for Chelsea.
On the other hand, Belle Silva is a vocal supporter of whichever club Thiago is playing for and makes use of her social media to talk about it.
She is a blogger and a media personality and she makes use of social media adequately, especially Instagram and Twitter.
She is very vocal on social media talking about football matches, her husband's children as well as her work.
She recently commented out of turn calling Chelsea striker Timo Werner "verme" which means worm in English, an incident Thiago Silva spoke to Werner about in training and apologized for.
While Thiago is a player who is not used to drawing attention outside the courts and taking care of his private life, his partner is quite the opposite and whenever he can he takes advantage of his social networks to talk about the intimacy of the couple.
Although Thiago is recognized worldwide for his defensive work in Chelsea, he has also become well known because his partner always launches statements that set social networks on fire.
Even the issue of their children and the possibility of having more of them has been discussed by the blogger on social networks.
It was in November 2020 that the blogger gave statements on the subject and was quite firm in the fact that she considers that it is Thiago who should have the operation.
Belle Silva, as she is also known, stated that she is trying to convince the Chelsea defender to undergo the vasectomy and in this way, not to have any more worries about this issue.
The blogger was blunt in saying that the possibility of her being the one to undergo the tubal ligation operation is out of the question.
In her words: "It is out of the question. All the women in my family, and others I know, have gained a lot of weight after doing it. Since I come from an obese family, I don't want to take any risks," she said.
Belle Silva also stated that Thiago is the one who wants to have more children, and has even said that this idea will not go beyond being a dream for her partner, since she thinks that two children are more than enough.
She was very emphatic when she said: "When stop dreaming (him) that I will have another child, he will accept a vasectomy and then I will stop taking the pill".
But that was not the only occasion on which the footballer's wife has grabbed the media's attention.
In April 2021, striker Timo Werner came in for some rather bitter criticism from the footballer's partner.
On that occasion in the first leg of the Chelsea vs Real Madrid match that ended 1-1, Werner missed several clear scoring chances, and in addition to facing criticism from Thomas Tuchel, he also received harsh comments and even a new nickname from Belle.
The blogger used her social networks on that occasion to say:
"It's karma guys. In every team I go to there's an attacker who misses goals. This Werner, what's his name?", and also added: "We need a goal, we have to win this game, but the strikers don't want to score, I don't understand why they don't do it".
While Belle Silva's aggressive side was seen on this occasion, on other occasions she has shown how much she cares for Thiago.
In her most recent foray into the media, Isabella was responsible for reporting to Chelsea fans on the player's state of health, reassuring the Blues.
On January 7, Belle was the one to confirm that the Chelsea star had no symptoms following the Covid-19 positive test that the team announced a few days earlier.
The news came as a relief to Blues supporters as after the win over Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semifinals, Thomas Tuchel delivered some very bad news to the club's fans.
The coach confirmed that Thiago Silva and N'Golo Kante had positive Covid-19.
However, Belle Silva reassured the club and supporters by uploading a story to her Instagram account, with the caption "He (Thiago Silva) is fine with no symptoms and quarantined."
The defender was a key part of the team that held off Liverpool at Stamford Bridge at the weekend, and Tuchel would be hoping to have the former Paris Saint-Germain ace back in training soon.
Thus proving that opposites not only attract but complement each other very well.
