Raheem Sterling is the highest ranked England player in the year 2021 according to the France Football Award, Ballon d'Or. The England attacker was ranked 15th in the men 's best category award. 

The former Liverpool player had a very interesting year reaching two major finals but unfortunately was not able to win any, He played the UEFA Champions League final for Manchester City against Chelsea in April and few months later made the Euro2020 final with England against the winner Italy. 

Sterling was electric for Pep Guardiola helping Manchester City clinch their fourth Premier League trophy under Pep. He contributed to 32 goals in the last one year, scoring 18 and assisting 14.

The England international has helped England qualify for the World Cup just a few months after losing the Euro 2020 final. He scored five goals for England in those periods.
