England international, Luke Shaw has spoken in the defence of new Manchester United signing, Jadon Sancho. Luke Shaw has noted that the winger is not struggling at Old Trafford and that he would soon show what he is capable of doing. Luke Shaw has stated that Sancho is just lacking a bit of luck at United and he would start delivering results soon.

Jadon Sancho moved to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund during the summer transfer window in a deal worth $100m (£73m). The England winger spent 4 productive seasons in the German Bundesliga after he left rivals, Manchester City to pursue his career abroad.

Since his arrival at Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo has taken the centre stage for United. The 5-time Ballon d'Or winner has already scored 5 goals for the English Premier League side but Jadon Sancho has not opening his scoring account for Manchester United.

However, Luke Shaw backed Jadon Sancho to come good for the Red Devils. According to Shaw: "Sometimes, for people, it takes time. I wouldn’t say struggle because I don’t think he’s struggling at the moment. He’s working extremely hard behind closed doors. He’s training really well and looking really sharp. He just hasn’t had that bit of luck that sometimes you need for your first goal or first assist. But I’ve got no doubt in my mind, it’s coming.
