The Simpsons is one of the most popular, if not the most, TV show in the United States. With 32 years on air, the show earned popularity in the whole world and became a cultural icon. Liked by almost everybody, it is quite easy to find people who memorized the best dialogues.

Today, they gave tribute to two American players. They are among the best of USMNT, and they will face each other today in UEFA Champions League. Rino Russo, part of The Simpsons staff, draw them in front of the house of the most famous family, with Homer Simpson dressed as a referee and Bart Simpson holding an American flag.

The players featured are Sergiño Dest and Weston McKennie. They were featured ahead of Barcelona-Juventus for the group stage and announced on Barcelona's social media. This match will decide who will be the winner of the group G, with the Italian side needing to win by a margin of three goals. Both are already qualified to the next round.

Dest and McKennie are not the first players with a Simpsons drawing. Ronaldo Nazario even appeared in an episode and Cristiano Ronaldo featured nutmegging Homer in a Nike ad for World Cup 2010 in South Africa. But at least for now, only two USMNT players had the pleasure to visit Springfield.
