After six months without playing officially for any club, Edinson Cavani is set to move to Manchester United in a transfer with no cost that suppose a new high contract for the club. Even though the fans are willing to see the Uruguayan striker in Old Trafford, there are some reasons that make us think he won't be doing that good in his new club.

First, we need to say Cavani is off the field, after half a year without any professional games. Secondly, we must think that he will be joining a team that is still under construction, under Ole Gunnar Solskjær mandate, and that has recently lost against Tottenham 6-1 in a historical game.

Lastly, we need to point out that Cavani isn't used to the Premier League and will need a large adaptation period of time to play in one of the most competitive leagues in the world. In the past, he played for Danubio, Palermo, Napoles and Paris Saint-Germain. At his 33 years and with only a couple of teammates from South America he will need a large time to adapt.

We all know that Cavani is a great striker, but after all this time inactive we will have to see him again in the field to prove his level. Even Oscar Tabárez, head coach of Uruguay, left him out of the national team in the start of the World Cup Qualifiers.
