Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Manchester United having spent time away at Real Madrid and Juventus since leaving Old Trafford in 2009. High expectations were instantly placed on him upon return and standards were immediately set for the club, whether any of those would come to fruition remains to be seen. He played 196 games in his first spell and scored 84 goals, since his return he has played four games and scored three goals.
