Oribe Peralta arrived to Chivas on July 2019, when he transformed into a free agent after leaving Club America. The attacker played 26 games so far, scoring two goals and giving an assist. At the age of 36 and with his contract ending on June 2021 it is yet unknown what he will be doing in his future.

Peralta is very thankful with Chivas for the chance he was given at the club at the end of his career, but there are some chances for him to move on. The player himself talked about his future and said that it is still undefined and that he doesn’t know what will go on in the future.

It was rumored during the last hours that there is a clear possibility for the forward to return to Santos Laguna, the club where he is an icon and where he played the greatest number of matches of his career. At Santos, he had 263 appearances, scoring 98 goals and giving 49 assists.

His intention could be wearing that jersey for a few opportunities more before saying goodbye in his career and at Santos they have the same feeling. Chivas will have to solve if they set Peralta free, or if they make him wait until the expiry of his contract to make his departure.
