The Instagram love triangle involving Neymar, Natalia Barulich & Maluma

Brazilian football star Neymar is a glamorous man with expensive taste in many things. He is never one to shy away from enjoying the good life as he is known to throw expensive parties and exclusive events too. Neymar taste in women has also been exclusive. Over the years, the Paris Saint-Germain star has been linked with several ladies including Daniela Carvalho, Sara Vucelic, Mayra Cardi, Carol Abranches, Barbara Evans, Bruna Marquezine, Carolina Dantas, and recently Natalia Barulich. 

Neymar and Natalia Barulich started dating in 2019 but they have since split up. Natalia is a Croatian-Canadian model who is famous on Instagram and has featured many top fashion brands. However, in the last months of 2020, it was rumoured that there was another man in the picture with Natalia, a popular Colombian singer, Maluma. Many believe that this was part of a major reason why Neymar and Natalia broke up.

According to reports, Maluma and Natalia had actually dated before Natalia Barulich started dating Neymar. This means that Maluma was Natalia's ex-boyfriend and Neymar was her current boyfriend at the time in 2020. In July 2020, Maluma released his single, 'Hawai' which instantly became a hit song. Many people were linking the song to a lady in Maluma's life, specifically to Natalia, his ex-girlfriend.

As these stories were swirling, it officially became a love triangle when Neymar and his PSG teammates released a video of them singing the song as they qualified for the final of the 2020 UEFA Champions League. Neymar's video became so popular that Maluma closed his Instagram page for up to a month. Later on, Natalia Barulich addressed the issue stating that Maluma is her ex and while she wishes him well, they are not back together. Natalia also revealed that Neymar is now just her very good friend and nothing more than that.
