Sergio ‘Chiquito’ Romero could be close to the MLS. The Argentinian goalkeeper has a low consideration from Manchester United's head coach Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer and is under David De Gea and Dean Henderson in the race for a spot in the starting line up. He was looking for a way out of the team just before the European transfer window closed.

During this transfer window, Romero thought he would be on the move to Everton on loan as competition for Jordan Pickford, but the deal collapsed when Manchester United demanded a high fee and Everton signed Robin Olsen from Roma instead. Now, there is a chances for him to land on the United Sates.

The Argentine goalkeeper won the Europa League in 2017 and three cups in English football. He has all the attributes to succeed in MLS. As the European transfer window closed on October 5, the MLS looks like an attractive destination for him. MLS's transfer window closes on October 29.

Undoubtedly, the 33 years old goalkeeper could find a place on MLS. He career consist of 14 years of experience and he has performed at the highest level on Racing Club of Argentina, AZ Alkaamar of the Netherlander Eredivisie, the Italian squad Sampdoria and AS Monaco in Ligue 1.
