Hugo Sánchez criticized the performance of El Tri players after their 2-1 victory over Jamaica

El Tri still has to play two more games in Estadio Azteca against Costa Rica and Panama, but that didn’t stop Hugo from criticizing the performance El Tri had against Jamaica, where he rightfully said that the Mexican players look frightened every time they play against a CONCACAF team.

But after his unlucky declarations, even Carlos Hermosillo said that Hugo had always been a talker and never a leader, especially during his short stint with El Tri, where he wasn’t the striker he was with Real Madrid or Pumas.

Other player that gave him a lesson was Ronaldinho, who played in Liga MX with Querétaro, and during an interview he said he was impressed by the difficulty of playing in the Mexican top flight, placing it as one of the top leagues in the world.

What else did Ronaldinho said?

The Brazilian former FC Barcelona midfielder also manifested that the Mexican players are very talented and could compete in any league in the world, but the main problem for them comes from the pressure from sponsors and people outside the soccer world, who restrain them instead of boosting their careers.
