Manchester United finally had enough of Ole Gunnar Solskjær and showed him the exit door. A former player and Solskjær's assistant Michael Carrick was installed as caretaker until an interim till the end of the season is found.
Highly rated German tactician Ralf Rangnick has now been found and will take charge of coaching duties till the end of the season when he will now have a contract for another two years in advisory and consultancy roles.
Rangnick's wages at Lokomotiv Moscow is £3.8m per season and Manchester United have offered to double the wages to a whopping £7.6m per year which would make him earn about £150,000 per week, a figure which would represent the highest pay of his career.
His duty at the club will last two years which means by the end of his time in 2024 he would have earned a massive £19m for his services both as an interim till the end of the season and in an advisory role. His net worth is $20m.
