Mesut Ozil's agent broke the silence and launched a criticism to Mikel Arteta

Almost 230 days had passed since the last time Mesut Ozil played for Arsenal. It was on March and after that he was axed from the team. First, he got injured and afterwards head coach Mikel Arteta decided to cut him out of both Premier League and Europa League lists. Now, his future is a mystery.

As if the situation was not complicated yet, Ozil's agent broke the silence and blamed Arteta for the chaotic situation saying that the coach hasn't been fair, honest and transparent and that his player deserves a better treatment and to know why he has been let out of the team.

Ozil was ones a key player for Arsenal, playing undoubtedly every single match and being key for any coach. The offensive midfielder joined the London side on September 2013, when they paid $50 million to Real Madrid for him. Since then, he has always been important for the club, until now.

The future of Ozil seems to be far away from Arsenal. Even though he has a contract remaining until June 2021 which he wants to respect, it is hard to think that he will stay if Arteta continues. Aged 32, he has received many offers from MLS clubs, being DC United the team with the most options to take him.
