Everyone believed Kylian Mbappé's relationship with PSG would be life-lasting (or career-lasting) since he declined Real Madrid's offer in the summer. He is basically under the control of the french team and he is consulted on transfers, such as his thoughts on the possible Neymar departure.

So it was a surprise for all of us after the French press reported he actually didn't sign a three-year Contract Extension with PSG but a two-year deal with an optional third year up to Mbappé's decision alone. So if the player isn't happy with PSG's results, he may leave without hesitation.

What is impressive is that the World Cup winner could leave PSG after all the drama caused last summer. Also, it's almost impossible to believe he could turn his back on his massive wages. The French player earns almost 50 million dollars per year.

Where will Mbappé go next?

Knowing his wages and knowing that Mbappé is basically banned from any transfer talk in the Bernabeú after that dramatic summer, only a couple of teams can pay the french player to be on their team. And both of them are in England.

Liverpool had already contacted Mbappé in 2017 and Kylian had admitted there was a chance of joining them since her mother loves "The Reds". The other Premier League team that could offer Mbappé a chance to play in the best league in the World is Chelsea.

Since the new management arrived, they put their eyes on Luís Campos, PSG's special advisor. If Campos finally joins Chelsea's new project, it would be crazy to imagine the French star at Stamford Bridge.
