Argentine international, Cristian Pavon has had to deny rumours about his death after they spread in the local media in Argentina. Rumours were going round fast that the Boca Juniors winger was involved in a car crash and that he had lost his life there. Pavon lashed out at those who were passing the rumours around, urging them to 'live their own lives.' The 25-year-old forward took to Instagram to post a live picture of him and include that he is hale and hearty.

It was confirmed that the rumours that the Argentine winger is dead is fake news. The former LA Galaxy loanee made this known himself. The rumours that Pavon was involved in a ghastly accident and had died from there was gaining ground on many social media platforms. This comes months after the winger was charged to court for rape and concludes a very difficult year for the winger. 

Pavon took to social media platform, Instagram to vent his anger. He said: "These people have no limits, eh?  Just for once, go and live your own lives and not other people's. For everyone who is worried about me - I've never felt better."

Cristian Pavon is a full Argentine international, having made his debut for the Abiceleste in 2017 during the double friendlies against Russia and Nigeria. Prior to this, he represented Argentina at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He was also part of the final 23-man squad that represented Argentina at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Pavon has had an interesting club career, starting out at Talleres de Cordoba in 2004 as a youth team member. He made his senior debut for the same club in 2013, scoring 4 goals in 18 matches during his solitary senior season at Talleres de Cordoba. In 2014, Cristian Pavon moved to his current club, Boca Juniors. He was first sent on loan to Colon, where he scored 5 goals in 20 matches. In 2015, he came back to Boca Juniors and has since made 137 appearances, scoring 30 goals. In 2019, he went on loan to MLS club, LA Galaxy. He was successful in the MLS, scoring 14 goals in 35 matches.
