Messi was substituted in the match against Lyon with the scoreline still at 1-1 much to his dissatisfaction and reacted angrily by not shaking his manager. It was later revealed that he had suffered a knee injury after an MRI scan. He missed the games against Metz and Montpellier but has now returned to training.
