Lionel Messi and Mauro Icardi: see what they have in common despite reported beef at PSG

Lionel Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain at the beginning of the season and immediately found himself in the midst of known faces, a few of which are his Argentina international teammates which made his settling down easier.

Neymar Jr is Messi's friend and former teammate at Barcelona while Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes and Mauro Icardi are his Argentina teammates but the French media are reporting that Lionel Messi and Mauro Icardi are not on good terms and Messi wants his compatriot sold.

Messi and Icardi share a few things in common for such incidents to be reported. Both are Argentines and are from Rosario in Argentina. Both players have also spent time at the Barcelona famous La Masia academy at different points in time, which makes for many common things between them.

Mauro Icardi recently had problems with his wife Wanda Nara which led to a divorce but the two have gotten back together after Icardi's message to Wanda won her heart back after the incident.
