If you had to describe PSG's transfer business in the summer, you would rate it a 10 over 10 but in reality it has not quite gone according to what was planned or what anyone would have imagined. Signing Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum and Gianluigi Donnarumma all for free in one window is top business.

A top quality signing for every department and all have not lived up to the expectations placed on them, the team generally have been underwhelming despite grinding out the results, and it has put Mauricio Pochettino under scrutiny on if he can deliver with the club.

Sergio Ramos is yet to play due to injury which kept him out of action for the better part of this year and made him miss Euro 2020 for Spain. Lionel Messi is yet to score a league goal in five games even though he has three goals for the club, all of which have come in the UEFA Champions League.

Georginio Wijnaldum has so far made 14 appearances in the league and in cup competitions many of which have come from the bench, which has led him to voice out that his move isn't what he expected. Donnarumma has played just six games, conceded five goals and kept two clean sheets. All signings have been nothing short of underwhelming.
