How was the weekend for Mexican soccer players abroad

Last weekend, several Mexican soccer players played in their respective clubs around the world. Without a doubt, Napoli striker Hirving Lozano was one of the players with the best performance: he scored two goals in the 4-1 victory over Atalanta in the Italian's Serie A.

On the other hand, Néstor Araujo and Hector Herrera faced each other in the game between Celta de Vigo and Atlético de Madrid in the Spanish's La Liga. The defender was a starter and played the 90 minutes, while the midfielder played the last 15 minutes of the game. In the end, the Spanish team won 2-0.

Betis striker Diego Lainez also played in the Spanish league this weekend. He entered from the bench in the 30th minutes of the second half. Finally, it was a 3-0 victory for Real Sociedad. On the other hand, Jesús Manuel Corona from Porto played in the 2-2 draw against Sporting Lisboa in the Portuguese´s Primeira Liga.

In the Netherlands Eredivisie, Edson Alvarez stayed on the bench during Ajax's 5-1 victory over Heerenveen. In adittion, In the English's Premier League, the forward Raul Jiménez scored a goal in Wolverhampton Wanderers' 1-0 victory over Leeds United led by Marcelo Bielsa.
