There were not many players who could play aside both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in their professional careers. Many of those who could, did so playing with one of them in their national team and with the other one in their clubs, either on FC Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United or so.

One of those cases is the one of Carlos Tevez. The attacker shared the Argentina national team squad with Messi, as he played 76 matches there and also with Cristiano, as he played 99 games on Manchester United since 2007 to 2009, a time in which CR7 played there as well.

At the age of 36, Tevez is very near to retiring. The forward is still playing for his former club Boca Juniors and has a contract remaining until June 2021, with an option to extend it for another season. But the reasons that may put him out of the field are just linked to soccer and not to his contractual situation.

Boca is at the semifinals of Libertadores Cup, a competition that Tevez won once on season 2002/2003 and that he wants to win again. The club gain it for the last time on 2007 and the striker is now trying to help them to win it back. If such a conquer occurs, it is very likely to think that it could be the end of the career of this humble idol.
