Many players in the top leagues earn huge salaries that allow them to buy everything they always wanted. The best houses, the best cars, the best jewelry, anything. And if some player turns out to be a fan of cars, it will not that uncommon to see him going out on a Ferrari.

This is the case of this Serie A player, who shared the squad with many stars in Italy national team, that had a serious problem with his Ferrari after he left it in a car wash. After the wash, he asked for it to be given back to him in the training ground, so an employee took the keys and drove there, but he crashed it.

A Ferrari cannot be driven like regular cars, and this employee lost the control of the car and crashed into a wall, destroying the front of the vehicle valued in 300,000 euros. Fortunately, nobody was injured, and Federico Marchetti, goalkeeper of Genoa, will have to pay for the damages caused to his own car.

Marchetti, a 37-year-old keeper who replaced Gianluigi Buffon in the 2010 World Cup, is not the first top player to see his Ferrari crashed, but at least he was not driving it, like happened once to Cristiano Ronaldo and Arturo Vidal. Fortunately, there are not cases of this causing problems, money aside.
