Inter Miami is very close to being out of the playoffs and many blame Higuain for his lack of goal. With two games to go, Inter Miami needs to win both to depend on it to qualify for the MLS playoffs. Although he is questioned, Higuain received a great compliment from one of Inter Miami's most important players.

Gonzalo Higuain has already said that Juan Roman Riquelme was one of his idols during his childhood and that he tried to imitate what the Boca Juniors player did on a soccer field. That is why there are times that Gonzalo Higuain leaves his role as a scorer to try to assist his teammates.

That could be seen in the last Inter Miami game when Higuain greatly assisted Pizarro to score. For this same reason, Matuidi said that Higuain today helps the team from another role. Matuidi believes that Higuain is the key in Inter Miami to give a good structure to the team and that the quality of passing that he has is that few forwards in the world have.

Higuain and all of Inter Miami are in a tough position but they trust them that they can win the two games they have left. Higuain's lack of goal is because today he is more focused on helping the team than scoring goals or it could also be that he is missing a player like Cristiano Ronaldo to assist him in a perfect way.
