It's another day of spectacular performance in a breath-taking match on the road for Édouard Mendy. He was actually the reason the Blues were able to secure three points against the Bees. He is the difference between the two sides today, an incredible wall.

The 29-year-old shot stopper is considered to be the best goalkeeper in the world, in today's game against Brentford he made 6 saves, 5 from shots taken inside the penalty area. He has more clean sheets (four) than goals against (three) in the league this season.

Comparison has been made between him and Emi Martinez this season as they have both been exceptional, Emi conceded three goals against Wolves today even though he had an outstanding performance in the international duty. He's got just 18 saves and just three clean sheets this season while Mendy has 25 saves.

The Argument that Mendy should be nominated for Ballon D'Or is actually valid considering his achievement this year from winning the UEFA Champions League and the competition Golden glove. Emi Martinez's performance in the Copa America was acknowledged too but Mendy is clear. He's definitely the best goalkeeper in the world right now in many people's books.
