Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers of this generation and one of the most respected personalities of the game. Since his childhood, he has put respect for others and himself above other things. His call for respect from his teacher, though in an aggressive manner led to his expulsion from school.

At the age of 14, Cristiano Ronaldo was expelled from his school, after throwing a chair at his teacher. It was revealed that the teacher made a joke about him and his family and mocked his family's poor conditions which Ronaldo felt disrespected about. He was expelled and since then he has focused on his football.

The poor boy from Madeira, Portugal is now the richest footballer with a net worth of over $500m made from a successful career from football salaries, endorsements, sponsorships and investments. He rewrote his own story through determination and hardwork.

He has won 32 major trophies in his career including league titles in every country he has played in. He has won five UEFA Champions League titles, the highest of any footballer. He is also a recipient of five Ballon d'Or awards for the best player in the world.
