Veteran Italian defender, Giorgio Chiellini has announced that he'll be signing a new contract with Juventus soon, thereby, extending his 17-year association with the clubside. The 38-year-old defender, who just led Italy to Euro 2020 glory, has decided to sign a new deal after his contract with the Bianconneri expired in June. 

His new contract is expected to be between 2 - 3 years. This would possibly see him hit the 20th anniversary mark at with the Old Ladies. We will look at 5 players who also hit the rare landmark at one club.

Paulo Maldini: Perhaps the greatest Italian defender of all-time. Maldini spent 25 years at AC Milan, captaining the team and winning everything on parade. He turned out at the San Siro between 1984 - 2009, winning 25 trophies in total. 

Francesco Totti: Another Italian, another half-century club man. Totti is a Roma legend, playing 619 games and scoring 250 goals in the Italian capital. He won 5 trophies in a career spanning 1992 - 2017.

Ryan Giggs: Welshman Ryan Giggs spent a total of 2 dozen years (24 years) in a dominant Manchester United side. He made 672 appearances for the club, scoring 114 goals. His impressive trophy cabinet includes 13 Premier League titles, 2 UEFA Champions League titles, 4 FA Cups, 3 League Cups, 9 Community Shields, 1 FIFA Club World Cup, 1 Intercontinental Cup and 1 UEFA Super Club. He played at Manchester United between 1990 - 2014.

John Charlton: Leeds United legend, John Charlton spent 21 years at the club between 1952 - 1973. He played 629 matches, scoring 70 goals as a centre back. He was the elder brother of Manchester United forward, Bobby Charlton. 

Paul Scholes: English international, Paul Scholes is also another one-man club who played up to 2 decades for 1 clubside. He was at Manchester United between 1993 - 2013, making 499 appearances and scoring 107 goals.
