México le ha dado al mundo del fútbol muchos grandes jugadores. Al nombrarlos, nadie puede dejar fuera del ranking a Carlos Vela . Nacido en 1989 en Cancún, México, los inicios futbolísticos de Vela llegaron de la mano de su padre, quien fuera un ex jugador de fútbol semiprofesional. Inscribió al joven Carlos en 'Ko Cha Wolis', un club local, donde el niño desarrolló un gran progreso.

 

 

Carlos Vela tenía talento y su entrenador escolar notó sus habilidades. También lo hizo la gente del 'CD Guadalajara', que decidió llevarlo con el equipo a una competencia juvenil en Buenos Aires, Argentina, y luego le ofreció unirse a la selección juvenil, en 2003. Dos años después, Vela fue crucial. en ayudar a México a ganar el 'Campeonato Mundial Sub-17 de la FIFA' demostrando sus habilidades como goleador y ganando la 'Bota de Oro'. El 'CD Guadalajara' decidió que era el momento de que el delantero se incorporara al equipo A.

 

 

Carlos Vela y su andadura en el fútbol 

Being a gifted forward and a top scorer, many European clubs showed interest in him. Eventually, the English team 'Arsenal F.C.' signed him for five years, for a  £125,000 initial fee. Though Carlos Vela felt eager to play, he couldn't do it due to work permit restrictions for non-EU citizens, and he was loaned to Spanish club 'Celta de Vigo' but returned to 'Arsenal' without touching the court, in 2006. 

 

 

For the same reason, in the 2006/07 season, he was again loaned, this time to 'Salamanca', a Spanish B-club, and he helped the team score approximately 50 goals. After that, Vela was loaned to ‘Osasuna’ for a year, returning to ‘Arsenal’ in 2008. Finally, the time to play for the English team arrived, and he made his debut in 'Premier League' match against 'Newcastle United'. 

 

 

Carlos Vela's first goal with 'Arsenal' was in a match against 'Burnley', during the 2009 ‘FA Cup’, an annual official English soccer knockout competition, organized by the Football Association. He was loaned to Spanish 'Real Sociedad' in 2011/12, the club to where he was officially transferred in 2012, for €3 million. His performance during the 2013/14 season was brilliant, both scoring and assisting, winning him the 'La Liga Player of the Month' award in December 2013. He continued giving his best to the club until he signed with the USA's Major League Soccer club, 'Los Angeles FC' in 2018.
