Lionel Messi's son Thiago Messi has joined his age levels of the PSG youth teams after the Argentine completed a shock move from FC Barcelona to the Paris club. Cristiano Ronaldo's son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr also joined the U11 team of Manchester United, having also played for Real Madrid and Juventus youth teams where his father also played. Messi's youngest son Ciro Messi is three years old and may also play football, will he follow in the footsteps of these players whose father also played football?

Erling Haaland

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is already a bigger name in football than his father Alf-Inge Haaland was. He started his career in Norway with Bryne just like his father who played for Bryne, Nottingham Forest, Leeds United and Manchester City in England. Haaland was born in Leeds, England when his father was playing for the club. He has scored 68 goals in 67 games for Borussia Dortmund.

Jonathan Klinsmann

Jonathan Klinsmann is the son of former USMNT manager Jürgen Klinsmann. He is a goalkeeper currently playing for Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy after unsuccessful seasons at Hertha Berlin in Germany and St Gallen in Switzerland. His father won the World Cup and Euros with Germany, and also the CONCACAF Gold Cup managing the USMNT in 2013.

The youngster currently plays for German club Borussia Dortmund and also the USMNT and won the 2021 CONCACAF Nations League. His mother, Danielle Egan, also played for the USWNT.
