Chelsea will be very troubled over the fitness of two of their key players after they both picked up injuries on international duty. £97.5m striker Romelu Lukaku missed Belgium's game against Italy due to a reported muscle problem and also big defender Antonio Rudiger missed the match for Germany due to back problem.

Both players are key to Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea with Lukaku being the dominant striker leading the line for the Blues since he returned to the club from Inter Milan for £97.5m and has scored four goals in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League for Chelsea.

Antonio Rudiger was one of the important players that won the Champions League for Chelsea last season and has started this season very strongly, helping the team from defence and also breaking opposition lines with his mazy runs and usual long passes over the defence. If both players miss the next game for the club, it will be a big blow.

Chelsea went into the international break at the top of the Premier League table, having recovered from two successive losses to Manchester City in the league as well as to Juventus in the Champions League. They play newly promoted club Brentford later this weekend.
