Diego Armando Maradona died at the age of 60 after an historical life, in which he was one of the best soccer players ever, not to say the best one. Since 1994, Maradona started to work in soccer, not as a player but as a manager, trainer, mental coach and even president.

During his last year he worked as the head coach of Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata. At the Argentinian side he managed 21 games before dying. Maradona had a player that he thought he was going to be one of the best Argentinian talent in the future and that is compared to Andrés Iniesta.

His name is José Paradela, he is a midfielder aged 21 and has a contract remaining with his actual side until June 2021. Formed at Club Rivadavia de Lincoln, he then passed to Gimnasia and plays there since 2018. He was one of the favorite midfielders of Diego and whom the coach praised much.

Ronaldo Nazario talked about his friend death and revealed that he was in touch with Maradona and talked with him a couple of weeks ago, when the Argentinian legend recommended him to sign a player from Gimnasia. Even though he didn’t say it was Paradela, local press could get to that information, after Ronaldo cleared, he was a midfielder.
