Ronaldinho would be sorry for not having fulfilled Diego Maradona's last wish

Ronaldinho and Diego Maradona were very similar soccer players but they also shared the same taste for partying and being out of control. Ronaldinho fired him in a particular way and said he was his main source of inspiration. Now Ronaldinho will miss Diego Maradona and regrets not having accepted a proposal that Maradona made him a few months ago.

Diego Maradona's last job was as a coach of Gimnasia de La Plata in Argentina and when he first got there, he called Ronaldinho to come back from retirement and play for his team. Ronaldinho refused that request and told him that he was not prepared. But Maradona did not stay there and made another proposal.

Maradona also invited him to be part of his technical body or whatever he wanted in order to have him close to Ronaldinho but the Brazilian 10 again denied his request. That was the last time he was close to Maradona and today he could regret not having worked with Diego Maradona. The two had a great relationship.

Ronaldinho fired Maradona with great sadness as did hundreds of players and fans around the world. Ronaldinho is expected to travel to Argentina to see Maradona's remains, but there is still no confirmation. Undoubtedly Ronaldinho missed an opportune great time to be close to Maradona and to be able to party together more than they surely did.
