Now Manchester City targets another Brazilian midfielder who could arrive after the Copa America. Man City and Guardiola want to sign Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United. The midfielder is worth around $85 million, but Newcastle could ask for more than $110 million as a transfer fee.

The likelihood of Man City signing Guimarares is high because of the problem Newcastle United is facing. Eduardo Burgos from Diario AS reports that Financial Fair Play may force Newcastle to sell and balance its books after missing out on Europe, which means that Man City is in contention to sign the Brazilian midfielder this summer.

Man United will play in the Europa League despite finishing 8th due to the FA Cup trophy, while Chelsea will play in the UEFA Europa Conference League. Bruno Guimaraes played a total of 50 matches for Newcastle United this season across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing ten assists.

Bruno Guimaraes will play in the Copa America
