The summer transfer window is still open, and many clubs are continuing to pursue some top players this summer. Manchester City are afraid about losing some of their star players after rumors started growing that Saudi Arabia is interested in signing Ederson and Kevin De Bruyne. Man City are firm in keeping their players by giving them a price tag and Pep Guardiola is concerned of potentially losing at least one player.

Julian Alvarez has been rumored to leave the club as Paris Saint Germain and Atletico Madrid are interested in him. The Premier League champions do not want to sell Julian Alvarez this summer as they see him as a key player for Pep Guardiola. Atletico Madrid is the most interested club and wants to bring the World Champion to La Liga.

To avoid selling him this summer, Man City has a high tag for the Argentine striker, so clubs like Atletico Madrid pay a high transfer fee to sign him. Sam Lee from The Atheltic reports that Manchester City wants around $70 million plus around $20 million in bonuses to sell Julián Álvarez, totaling a deal worth more than $90 million.

Julian Alvarez wants more game time and is open to joining another club so he can play more often. Man City's manager Pep Guardiola picked Erling Haaland over him in the striker position since the Norwegian is a world-class striker. Alvarez played a total of 54 matches this past season with Man City across all compeptitions.

Alvarez scored a total of 19 goals and provided 13 assists in all competitions. He played over 3,400 minutes in the season for Man City. Alvarez played in the Copa America with the Argentina national team this summer, where he won the trophy in a 1-0 win against Colombia in the final, but his international duty isn't over, and he did not go back to the Man City squad to prepare for next season.
