Are the Super Bowl final and the Soccer World Cup Final the most popular sporting events? Possibly yes. That is a more than reasonable choice, among some others like the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco, the Indy 500, the NBA finals, or a tennis Grand Slam final, not to mention the Olympic Games. But let us talk about tickets… have you got yours for this weekend?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by NFL legend Tom Brady, and Kansas City Chiefs, will decide the new football champion in the 55th edition of the Super Bowl. And yes, there will be some spectators allowed despite the world health situation. From the 65,890 people that fit in the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, 22,000 will be authorized to enter.

From those 22,000 you must remove 7,500 healthcare workers that have been invited to attend, leaving 14,500 tickets on sale... Err, sorry. Let us better say 14,500 extremely expensive tickets. As per sellers Ticketmaster, some seats can cost up to $35,000. But as reported by NBC, the prices reached $40,000 a few days ago. No, we are not attending.

Oftenly confused with ‘football’, soccer has its pinnacle in the FIFA World Cup Final. The last edition was held at the Luzhniki stadium in Moscow, Russia. France beat Croatia 4-2 in front of 78,000 spectators who paid up to $1,100 per ticket.
