Lionel Messi marked soccer history, as he was one of the best players ever, not to say the best one. The historical no. 10 has changed the sport forever and has been compared to top stars as Diego Armando Maradona and Pele. Since his arrival in the main stage, specialists had tried to find who will be the next Messi

With just 16 years old there is a wonder kid that many say that reunite the conditions that Messi had when he was a youth. His name is Luka Romero, and he was born at Durango, Mexico. But despite his nationality, he may be playing for Argentina national team, as his parents are from that country.

Romero moved when he was a kid to Spain and was formed at Formentera. He then passed to PE Sant Jordi and finally to Mallorca, club in which he made his debut as a professional soccer player. At the Spanish side he has played eight games, scoring only one goal on 129 minutes played.

Romero has been called-up for Argentina youth national team, U15 and U17. But he hasn’t yet decided where he will be playing in the future. Gerardo Martino hasn’t insisted too much, as Mexican press reports, and in Argentina Pablo Aimar, ex soccer player and manager, is working hard to convince him to play with them.
