After Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for the coronavirus two weeks ago, Juventus drew their last two games in the Italian Serie A (against Crotone and Verona, both 1-1). It's is obvious that the 35-year-old Portuguese forward plays a crucial role in "La Vecchia Signora". If Juventus wants to beat FC Barcelona, the sure need him.

Meanwhile, the forward will know the results of his latest Covid-19 test just hours before the game against FC Barcelona for Champions League. Therefore, coach Andrea Pirlo will wait until last minute to decide whether Ronaldo will play or not. Will he face Lionel Messi after more than two years?

Andrea Pirlo said that if the test result is negative, he will analyze what to do with the Portuguese. Although he is one of the best players of the Italian team, the coach said that it is not easy to play after 15 days without training. One option could be to start Cristiano Ronaldo in the bench.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo signed a four-year contract with the Italian club for more than 100 million dollars on 10 July 2018, he has scored 68 goals and given 15 assists in 91 games. Besides this, he has won the Scudetto twice (2018-2019 and 2019-2020) and the Supercoppa Italiana (2018).
