He is no longer playing for the Citizens but is still in position to make them earn a whole lot of money. Apparently it's not such a good deal for them, though.

Many times, a club sells a player and earns a huge amount of money, despite they need to bring up a backup from the bench, from the reserve team or from the transfer market. But now, Manchester Cityis about to raise a fortune for a player who is not currently part of the squad. Despite that, their bank account could grow in $25 million in just a few hours.

In the undergoing 2020-2021 season in Premier League, both France’s Benjamin Mendy and Ukraine’s Oleksandr Zinchenko are rotating as the left backs of the squad coached by Pep Guardiola. But another player in that position who is not currently playing for Manchester City is the one that could lead them to a massive deal.

After being loaned to our RB Leipzig in the German Bundesliga, Spanish defender José Ángel Esmorís Tasende, better known as Angeliño, has enjoyed a great spell in Germany. The last UEFA Champions League’s semifinalists have seen him play in a very good level, and definitely want to keep him for longer.

The 23-year-old arrived to Leipzig by the end of January 2020 for an 18-month deal. He is valued, as per Transfermarkt, in $42 million. Despite that there is a buyout close on the deal between both clubs. For which the Spanish defender could be set to a permanent deal transferred for only $24 million.
