Cruz Azul will return to the courts. On Sunday, Juan Reynoso's team will host Pachuca for matchday 7 of the 2021 Liga MX Apertura, just after the All-Star Game and before the September FIFA date. The light-blue team is coming into the challenge against Pachuca with a regular season. In the last double-header, La Máquina obtained five points out of a possible nine, after drawing against Rayados and Atlético de San Luis, and only defeating Toluca on matchday 4.
