Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp highlighted how exciting it is for the 'Reds' to be able to play against Real Madrid again. This Champions League quarterfinal tie will serve as a rematch for that final lost in Kiev in the 2017/18 season. On that occasion, the White House club beat the English 3-1, and raised the trophy in their faces, so they were looking forward to a rematch like the one that is currently being presented.

In statements made to the English press this Friday, the German coach said he is not afraid of Madrid. Even, by his attitude, Klopp seemed to want to face the white team again. For this reason, he pointed out that "having the opportunity to play against them again is really great. It's been a little over two years since we faced them and it was a difficult night for us," said the German.

"It is exciting, exciting. Obviously it is a difficult draw, but I'm fine because if you look at all the Other teams think, 'My God' because they are all strong and they all have quality, that is clear. I really want the games to come", he added. Liverpool is looking forward to a rematch for the Kiev final, although an important detail will be knowing where the pandemic matches will be played. "We don't know where we'll play, but it's all good. If it's Budapest, that's fine. We're fine with that. The home game hopefully at Anfield will also be great", he assured.

Finally, he also spoke about the Meregue squad. "I think it's the first time that I face them when Cristiano is not there; it is probably the first time since Bale is not. But obviously Sergio Ramos is still there, Varane is still, Kroos is still, Modric is still, Casemiro is still. Carvajal is still there, Benzema is still there", concluded the coach, referring to the huge squad that the rival has at its disposal.
