The match between PSG and Club Brugge was the first time Paris Saint-Germain played the trio of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar together but it was not the best of their performances together as they were given a tough time by the Belgian club.

PSG settled for a 1-1 draw against the Belgians to pounce on Manchester City later, but today Manchester City have done better than PSG did against Club Brugge in 45 minutes, they have scored two goals and unless there's a change of fortune, they will collect all three points.

João Cancelo opened the scoring in the 30th minute for Pep Guardiola's men through a beautiful Phil Foden pass which he brought down with his chest and converted. The second came in the 43rd minute through African winger Riyad Mahrez and Man City went into the half two goals up.

A win will give Manchester City all three points to make it six points from three games, having beaten RB Leipzig 6-3 in the first match and lost 2-0 to PSG in the second match. Manchester City were beaten finalists in last season's Champions League losing to champions Chelsea.
