The English Premier League and the National Basketball Association are two of the most watched sport leagues in the world and both competitions are topmost in their respective sports.

Both have thousands of people in attendance and millions watching all over the world on TV and on the internet. Football stadiums are typically bigger than basketball stadiums so it's not surprising to see the Premier League coming out on top in this debate.

The average Premier League attendance in the last two seasons is 39,315 viewers in the stadiums with Manchester United top of the chart with an average of over 72,000 viewers while AFC Bournemouth is the least with an average of 10,510 viewers.

The Premier League's average figure doubles the NBA's best season in terms of attendance which was the 2016/17 NBA season which had an average attendance of 17,884 people viewing the NBA matches.
