Italian giants Juventus and German champions Bayern Munich became the first two teams to qualify for the knockout stages of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League after winning their matches against Zenit St Petersburg and Benfica respectively.

The two teams have won their first four games of the group stage and have accumulated enough points to finish at least second in the group and ensure qualification even if they lose their remaining two group games, a feat Liverpool and Ajax could achieve tonight.

Liverpool are top of group B having won their first three games against Porto, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid, they will play the reverse fixture of the match against Atletico Madrid this evening and a win certainly guarantees their qualification to the knockout stages.

Ajax who have been one of the best geams in the Champions League this season have won their first round matches against Borussia Dortmund, Sporting Lisbon and Besiktas with a scoreline of 11-1, they will face Borussia Dortmund again tonight after winning the first leg 4-0, a win certainly ensure their qualification.
