His reputation in France was destroyed after his last World Cup, being one of the main culprits of the terrible run the French team had in South Africa in 2010. Nobody wanted him. His multiple mistakes caused indignation in his country and he had to end his career right there, with no intentions of coming back.

But ten years later, he overturned his decision and chose to come back to soccer. And a club chose to trust him again. In Ligue 1, Nantes will be his next team. Nantes is fighting for survival, but right now it is out of relegation places. They needed a new coach so he was appointed.

This coach is Raymond Domenech, manager of France between 2004 and 2010, and astrology fan. He was runner-up in World Cup 2006, where he refused to call up the star Robert Pires because he did not trust Scorpio players (Diego Maradona and Pele are Scorpio) and did not want to have Leo defenders. The exit of the team in group stages at World Cup 2010, where the squad rioted against him, was the shameful end of his career.

With Nantes, Domenech will have a new challenge and an opportunity to save his reputation and clear his name. At 68 years old, he will be in charge of a good roster that wants to stay in the league. Hopefully for this coach, there will not be too many Scorpio players under him.
