If seeing the television image of Christian Eriksen collapsing in the middle of the Denmark-Finland game was a shock, it was much worse in person. And the one who can account for it's Sabrina Kvist, the wife of the Inter Milan player, who was in the stadium and could not believe what she was witnessing.
As Eriksen was re-examined on the field of play and everything was uncertainty and fear for a situation that, apparently, was worse than it finally is, Kasper Schmeichel and captain Simon Kjaer were observed trying to reassure Sabrina Kvist, the player's wife.
Kjaer and Schmeichel were in charge of ordering their companions to make a round around Eriksen so that no one could take pictures of what was happening. And once they saw that everything was under control, they went to the rostrum to speak with Sabrina Kvist, who was heartbroken and crying.
Sabrina is a professional stylist born in Denmark. Kvist has accompanied Eriksen on his soccer journeys since 2012, living in Amsterdam, London and Milan, the cities where Christian played for Ajax, Tottenham and Inter.
In England, Sabrina Kvist created for a clothing company and has a charity for children in poverty. Sabrina and Christian have a two-year-old son named Alfred.
