This Friday the draw for the quarterfinals of the Champions League took place. Eight teams with the uncertainty of knowing their next rival. It should be remembered that in this instance there were no conditions of teams from the same country or previous clashes. Finally, Liverpool will be the rival of Real Madrid evoking the final of 2018 where the Merengue team was crowned champion, and Bayern Münich will face Paris Saint Germain, with the memory still latent of what the last final of the tournament left behind.

The other keys to the quarterfinals of the Champions League remained: Manchester City vs Borussia Dortmund, in the same key of the duel between Germans and French, and Porto vs Chelsea, which run on the same side as the English and Spanish teams. The first leg matches will be played on April 6, and the second leg will be played on April 13.

The fight for the title is more on than ever, so everyone wants to be in the final scheduled for May 29 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, Istanbul. It is worth remembering that of the 8 teams still in force, only 4 have managed to lift the trophy: Bayern Münich, which is in fact the new champion, Real Madrid, the most winner in the history of the competition, Liverpool, which reached the glory twice, and Chelsea, who achieved it only once thanks to Didier Drogba.

However, they will not have it easy at all, since among those who never managed to lift the title, there are Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain, perhaps the two strongest teams on the continent, and in the world, today. The truth is that both English and French have markets betting everything to achieve it, and everything indicates that this time it may be. In addition, there is Borussia Dortmund, with its lethal card that is Erling Haaland, a goal threat worth fearing. And Porto closes the group, perhaps the team with the least strength, but which has us used to fighting in the foreground of the competition, and comes from eliminating none other than Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus.

A passionate ending is coming

A really exciting ending is coming, since none of the 8 teams will give anything away. Undoubtedly, there is still much to play for, and all the teams are in this instance on their own merit, so it only remains to sit back and wait and enjoy the most important club tournament in the world: The Champions League.
