Joy returns to the playing fields, after almost two whole seasons in silence due to the coronavirus pandemic. The stadiums will return to normal at the beginning of the football league and the basketball ACB and will be able to receive the same influx of public that they had before the pandemic, as announced this Thursday by the Minister of Health, Carolina Darias.

The royal decree approved this Thursday by the Council of Ministers that modifies the law of new normality of last summer removes article 15.2 of this regulation and, therefore, “we return to normality in terms of the influx of public for the beginning of the soccer league and the ACB ”.

The pandemic forced the banning of fans from the stadiums of professional clubs, in the First and Second Division, and has remained that way throughout the season. LaLiga tried to get the fans to return to the fields in the last leg of the 2021-21 competition, but it could not be possible.

However, when the next course begins, these venues will be able to regain their atmosphere, although the capacity they will host is not yet known. According to LaSexta, it is expected that they will be filled to 75% of their capacity. "I am convinced that it will be well received news and very well accepted for all sport and this country," concluded the minister.

Regarding the general use of the mask, it has ratified that its obligation in the open air is withdrawn when we can maintain a distance of 1.5 meters. “The fact that they are no longer mandatory means that the masks give way to smiling again. The remission of the pandemic, the indicators, allow this flexibility ”, he pointed out. In the same way, he indicated when it will be necessary to carry it, even if it is stored: “If we are going to walk around our surroundings, no, but if we are going to take public transport, then yes. It will be convenient to always carry it with you to comply with what this modification says ”.
