Ballon D’Or Dream Team was announced, they left out this top player and unleashed a scandal

After many years of expectation, France Football finally announced this December the Ballon D’Or Dream Team of soccer history. The XI was published by the official website and revealed on their social media, while fans followed expectant the development of who are considered the bests ever.

The goalkeeper chosen is Lev Yashin, known as the Black Spider, being the Russian who marked an era and the only keeper to win the Ballon D’Or on 1963. Following him on defense the chosen ones were Cafú, Maldini and Beckenbauer. The midfielders are Xavi Hernández, Lothar Matthaus aside Diego Maradona and Pele.

The attackers elected are Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldo Nazario. With that, they completed the XI of the best players ever, with some polemic absences. Fans on social media claimed for two Spanish players that haven’t been chosen: Sergio Ramos and Andrés Iniesta.

Both have been left out and generated a scandal in Spain, where they considered that they should have been picked. Many criticized the inclusion of Maldini and Matthaus and considered that in their place they could have elected two World Champions as Ramos and Iniesta.
